In LOVING MEMORY

Paramedic Erick Gonzalez

Erick's friend and partner, Corona EMT Mark Mastrios with Memorial print.
It is with heavy heart and saddened soul that Corona Volunteer Ambulance announces the untimely and tragic death of Paramedic Erick Gonzalez.
Erick was a good-natured person who got along well with his fellow members and officers. In his time with Corona Community Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Erick showed a willingness to learn new responsibilities and was open to instruction. He was an asset to our organization and it is with great sorrow we mourn his passing.
Erick has been a member of Corona Volunteer Ambulance since 1998 and in his time with Corona he was a reliable and conscientious member, who was trustworthy, diligent in his work, considerate of other members around him and counted on to see assignments completed.
At the remembrance service for Erick Gonzales, ArtAID presented Chief Velez of the New York Critical Response Medical Services a special memorial artwork for the family. Mr. Gonzales described the artwork as "the most beautiful thing" he had ever seen. This example of Healing Art as provided by ArtAID significantly helped the grieving family and community during this difficult time.
Corona Volunteer Ambulance is asking for those who wish to honor Erick’s memory, in lieu of flowers, send your support in the form of a donation to be utilized by his family in this their time of need. Corona Volunteer Ambulance Corps can be reached at 718-592-7964 for further inquiries. Corona Volunteer Ambulance Corps is a 501 (c) (3) federally tax-exempt organization. Photo requests and questions can be addressed to David Moretti, EMT/Public Relations. All donations should be made via check made payable to Corona Community Volunteer Ambulance Corps and upon receipt a letter of appreciation/charitable donation receipt will be returned. Corona is located at 104-38 47th Avenue, Corona, NY 11368.
