Links with Descriptions Families of September 11 -- Families of September 11 is a non-profit organization founded by families of those who died in the September 11 terrorist attacks. Give Your Voice To raise public awareness and give voice to World Trade Center victims and families deep concern about the conditions, policies and decisions impacting the recovery, financial assistance and memory of our lost loved ones. September's Mission -- The families running this site are addressing the redevelopment and memorialization of the September 11th attack sites. Waleed J. Iskandar Wendy Faulkner Memorial Children's Foundation -- Wendy was murdered in WTC South on 9/11. Her family started this 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt charitible foundation to continue and possibly expand Wendy's decades-long personal mission of sending boxes of clothing and supplies to poor children around the world. WTC Memorial Petition -- While so many of us are still trying to cope with the events of September 11th, plans for commercial rebuilding on the former WTC site are being decided by NY officials. My mission is to see that the NY City Planning Committee hears, and acts on our opposing views. 091101 Memorial -- Our organization is a support organization for persons with disabilities. We interact with various state agencies and the Department of Justice on violations of state and federal construction standards. America's Honored -- On-line memorial to those who are no longer with us through acts of war or other public or military service. Bravest Memorial -- A site dedicated to the 343 heroes who gave their all on Sept.11th. With help, this site will also help to build a Memorial Wall. This memorial will be dedicated to the firefighters, by the people, by brother firefighters, EMS and police. Memorial pages and dedication pages are available. Catholic Big Brothers -- On September 11th, Catholic Big Brothers'lost a Board Member Dwight Darcy. In response to the attacks, and to pay tribute to Dwight's lifelong commitment to CBB, in a program in his honor called "Dwight's Lights." Comfort Zone Camp -- Information about a truly unique bereavement camp for children. The program was established 3 years ago in Richmond, VA. Camp Comfort has run one mini-camp in New Jersey for families who lost a loved one on 9/11. Children's Aid Society -- From adoption and foster care to health services and education, The Childrens Aid Society is on the front lines of services to underserved children and families, providing cutting-edge programs in community centers, camps, public schools, family courts and even in childrens own homes. Christina Regenhard --"The Skyscraper Safety Campaign" A Project of Parents & Families of Firefighters. Lists the names, phone numbers and email address of elected officials who should be contacted to create a Federal, Independent Investigation of why the WTC collapsed. Dear Lord -- I wrote the songs "Dear Lord" and "America My Home" in loving memory of those who died on September 11. The Dougy Center for Grieving Children-- Information and resources to help parents, teachers, caregivers and other adults support and understand the needs of children and teens grieving a death. The Dougy Center is The National Center for Grieving Children & Families and provides helpful info, training and resources to individuals and organizations nationwide. Began -- This site is for "The People of the World". Larry McAloney and Richard York are both construction workers but it was Raymond York who ran into the bldg to do what he does best "caring and saving lives". Fallen Brothers Community -- The Fallen Brothers Foundation, founded in 1999, now provides a Community Forum with a memorial for each of its honorees. It is a place where friends and families are encouraged to share stories, photos, poetry and any other loving dedication. Fallen Brothers was founded in 1999 by two brother FDNY firefighters, Brian and Kevin Shea. All proceeds from the sale of the shirts will go to the funds of the individual families. FDNY.org -- This web site is dedicated to those firefighters , Police officers, Court officers, EMS workers , civilians & others who lost their lives on Sept 11th 2001 during the WTC terrorist attack on America. The Firefighter Song -- A song written by FDNY Lieutenant Jim Coyne in honor of fallen NYC firefighters. The lyrics are the words of a fallen firefigher speaking down from heaven to comfort those he has left behind. Flag of Remembrance -- This website describes a memorial project called "Flag of Remembrance", a permanent memorial American flag of faces, 20 feet high and 30 feet wide. Families are asked to submit photos through the website or by mail. Grief Recovery Online -- Online grief recovery site for all bereaved. Remembrance Flag --This flag was designed about a week after the 9-11 tragedy. Monica Iken has met with the designer (Gwen Loiacono) and proceeds from the sale of the flag will be used to help support victim's family organizations. Teddy Bears That Care Program, Inc. -- The Teddy Bears That Care Program is a charitable program founded by the FDNY Hockey Team in February 2001 to "Help bring a smile to a child's face" through donating teddy bears. Windows of Hope Family Relief Fund -Relief organization for the survivors of those who worked at Windows on the World. WTC Permanency Project (The Evan B.
