A Goodbye, 4 years later
His remains finally identified, a funeral is held for firefighter Keithroy Maynard, who was killed on 9/11.
NEW YORK CITY - JUNE 12: Almost four years after the Sept. 11 tragedy, New York's bravest turned out to say goodbye once again to one of their own who died that day.
Firefighter Keithroy M. Maynard, 30, of Engine Company 33 in Manhattan, was one of 343 firefighters killed in the attacks. His family had held off on a funeral until DNA testing identified his remains. Commissioned by the FDNY Fire Family Transport Foundation, ArtAID provided a processional banner and personalized remembrance cards. See more HERE. |
